Who am i?

Laura Leuillier, Founder

My name is Laura and I’m an ICF certified coach and a successful entrepreneur. I’m passionate about helping organisations harness generational differences to attract, motivate and retain the workforce of the future. I also love helping Millennial women find their purpose and build meaningful careers. 

I began my career in Human Resources and then moved from my native UK across the channel to France. I started a company in 2017 called espacelingua.com, a Language Consultancy business which is still running today. The experiencing of setting up, managing and growing an organisation abroad has given me real insight to the barriers entrepreneurs often face, the glass ceiling and overcoming confidence challenges. 

Living and working abroad has given me a truly international perspective; an intimate understanding of how businesses work, their challenges and the different ways managers lead and inspire their teams. Thanks to these experiences, I have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with all types of people with awareness and sensitivity. 

As a Business English consultant, I provided language training to corporate clients across a diverse range of industries, backgrounds and countries. I was lucky enough to work with representatives of every generation. Boomers (1943—1960) & Gen Xers (1961—1981) often asked me to explain the puzzling behaviour of their Millennial employees; and Millennials bemoaned the old-school ways their companies were run. It was clear there was a gulf of misunderstanding separating each age cohort. It was during this time that I decided to become an ICF certified coach. 

These experiences combined served as the inspiration for Project Dialogue. As the name suggests, the essence of Project Dialogue centres around conversation: conversation with ourselves and with others to cultivate greater success, self-awareness and productivity.

How can a coaching approach help solve your problem? 

My coaching approach is solutions-focused and client lead. I work with the client as a partner, taking them from where they are to where they want to be. I empower my clients, giving them clear direction and strategies for achieving objectives whilst also really encouraging self reflection. My coaching conversations are always 100% judgement free. 

Coaching is different to training and consulting as it encourages people to find their own solutions: an invaluable skill for our modern world.

A coaching approach is the way to overcome challenges and bring about sustained change because it starts engaging individuals where they are, without judgement. Coaching addresses the growing need to challenge biases and build authentic organisational cultures where everyone feels a sense of belonging. 

Coaching encourages individuals to go deep within to own where they are, embrace truth, and do the self-work needed in order to reach their goals and maximise potential. Coaching can create sustainable and meaningful behavioural change; it also serves as an action-oriented process, with simple techniques to shift mind-sets and generate long lasting changes.

By using the principles of coaching, we can go further than the superficial layer of engagement by shifting the focus away from telling and persuading toward asking the right questions and listening. We can create a safe space for self-reflection, taking into account a person’s core values, motivators and beliefs, to find out exactly what they need to do to get where they want to be.
